Lu Linares (they/them) (@ml_llama) is a festival programmer and arts administrator. Born in Peru and based in Toronto, their work is deeply shaped by their experiences as a queer immigrant. They have programmed and worked with festivals such as imagineNATIVE, JAYU’s Human Rights Film Festival, aluCine Latin Film + Media Arts Festival, Toronto Queer Film Festival, Urbanworld Film Festival, and Breakthroughs Film Festival. In 2021, Lu received the Queer Emerging Artist Award from Buddies in Bad Times Theatre for their contributions to film and theatre. Currently, as the Programming and Industry Manager at the Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival, they focus on spotlighting new queer and trans talent in film while fostering opportunities for filmmaker development. Most importantly, they’re one-third of Boyband the Boyband—a Latinx drag king boy band—and a proud Virgo.
Nara Wrigglesworth (she/her) is a programmer, moving image artist, and student living in Tkaronto. Her practice is grounded in DIY and community-based methods of generation and exhibition. You can find her working with Insomniac Film Festival and ponyHAUS on projects which champion experimental film and new media works. In her downtime, Nara likes to talk to her friends on the phone.

They are an alum at Blood in the Snow Development Lab 2024, Spindle Films Foundation: Producers Cohort 2025, and Series Mania: Writers Campus 2025. Currently, they are obsessed with all things on VHS, limoncello with prosecco, Patti LuPone, and the smell of jasmine.
